A joint professional development programme was conducted jointly by LANKAPHEIN and the College of Community Physicians of Sri Lanka on 'Applications of Health Promotion' on the 31st January 2013 at the National Institute of Health Sciences (NIHS).

Prof. Rajitha Wickremasinghe was appointed the President SEAPHEIN for 2013/2014 at the last Annual meeting of the SEAPHEIN held in Nepal.
